Description
Collingwood H2 Pro LED Downlight with Selectable Brightness and Light Colour
The Collingwood H2 Pro DLE5245500 is a fixed, fire-rated LED downlight with a choice of two power settings and three colour temperatures. It gives you more flexibility when planning recessed ceiling lighting, whether you are renovating a home, fitting out a kitchen or choosing downlights for several rooms.
Switches on the driver let your electrician select 5W or 7W and 2700K, 3000K or 4000K. You can therefore choose the brightness and appearance of the light without ordering a different downlight for each setting.
The decorative bezel is sold separately, allowing you to choose a compatible H2 twist-and-lock bezel to suit your ceiling and other fittings.
Choose the Light Colour to Suit Your Room
Colour temperature describes how warm or cool the light looks. The 2700K setting gives a warmer appearance, often preferred for bedrooms and living rooms. At 3000K, the light remains warm but looks slightly less yellow. The 4000K setting provides a cooler, more neutral appearance for customers who prefer that style of lighting.
These are selectable white-light settings, so the fitting offers three distinct options rather than a continuously adjustable colour range.
Two Power Settings with Up to 850 Lumens
The 5W setting produces 550 lumens at 2700K or 650 lumens at 3000K and 4000K. Selecting 7W increases the output to 750 lumens at 2700K or 850 lumens at 3000K and 4000K.
This helps your installer choose the output for the lighting layout. The fixed fitting has a 55° beam angle and directs light downwards; it does not tilt to aim at a wall or feature.
For everyday brightness adjustment, the H2 Pro is also mains dimmable with a compatible LED dimmer. The power selector sets the operating output, while the dimmer lets you adjust the light during use.
Practical Installation Features
A two-part, push-fit loop-in/loop-out connector helps simplify wiring when installing a run of downlights. The fitting requires a 64–72mm ceiling cut-out and accommodates ceiling thicknesses up to 40mm.
It is suitable for covering with rolled and blown insulation in accordance with Collingwood’s installation requirements. Its fire approvals cover specified solid timber, I-joist and metal-web ceiling constructions, so the approval must match the ceiling being installed.
IP65 Protection for Indoor Ceiling Lighting
The H2 Pro is IP65 rated, and Collingwood lists it for bathroom Zone 1 ceiling installations, subject to the installation requirements. It is an indoor downlight and is not intended for exterior use.
With a published 70,000-hour L70 LED lifetime and a seven-year extended warranty, subject to registration and manufacturer terms, it offers useful flexibility for customers choosing lighting for a long-term installation.
