The Scolmore WA4235 is a 2 Gang 35mm Deep FlameGuard Dry Lining Box, engineered for enhanced fire and acoustic protection in plasterboard wall installations. Designed to fit up to 18mm thick plasterboard, it features an intumescent composite layer that expands under heat to seal gaps and slow fire spread, maintaining wall integrity for up to 90 minutes.
Manufactured from galvanised steel, the box includes brass earth terminals, spring-loaded lugs, and multiple Ø25mm knockouts for flexible cable entry. It complies with BS EN 1364-1, BS EN ISO 10140-2, and BS 4662, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and public sector buildings where fire safety and sound insulation are critical.
