Designed for lighting that needs to be controlled from three or more positions, this 1-gang intermediate switch combines practical multi-point switching with the traditional look of Click Deco’s Antique Brass Victorian-style faceplate and contrasting black insert.
It is particularly well suited to hallways, staircases, landings, large rooms and properties with several entrances where a single lighting circuit needs to be operated from more than two locations.
The warm Antique Brass finish also makes the VPAB025BK an excellent choice for period properties, traditional interiors and modern rooms using brass, bronze or darker decorative details.
An intermediate switch is used when one lighting circuit needs to be controlled from three or more separate switch positions.
A typical three-position arrangement uses:
- A 2-way switch at the first position
- An intermediate switch in the middle
- A 2-way switch at the final position
Additional intermediate switches can be added where even more control positions are required.
