Description

Choose 1.5kW or 3kW heating

Two heat settings let you select the level that suits the conditions. Use the 1.5kW setting when a lower heat input meets your needs, or select 3kW when more warmth is required.

The switched controls provide straightforward selection of the fan and heating settings. This makes the WAC3 a practical option for premises looking for uncomplicated entrance heating.

Fan-only operation when heat is not needed

The separate fan-only setting allows airflow without selecting either heating level. You can continue using the fan when extra warmth is unnecessary.

Fan-only operation circulates air; it does not provide refrigerated cooling.

An over-door installation that leaves the floor clear

Mounting above the doorway keeps the heater away from the floor and helps preserve usable space around the entrance. This can be useful in smaller shops and reception areas where a portable heater would occupy part of the working area.

CED identifies the WAC3 as a single-door warm air curtain. When choosing the unit, assess the doorway width, proposed mounting position and the conditions around the entrance. The heater’s physical width should not be treated as a guaranteed airflow coverage.

White powder-coated steel construction

The sheet-steel body has a white epoxy powder-coated finish, giving it a clean, professional appearance. Its slimline form suits installations where the heater needs to fit neatly above the door.

Useful details for installation planning

The manufacturer’s catalogue specifies wall or ceiling mounting using a bracket. Before ordering, have your electrician check the mounting surface, available space, door movement and electrical supply requirements against the supplied instructions.
