Plan warmth around your routine

Use the programmable timer to organise heating around working hours, evenings or the times a room is occupied. A home office may need a different schedule from a living room, and the weekly timer helps you plan for those differences.

The adjustable thermostat lets you choose the desired temperature. Together, temperature control and scheduling help you avoid heating a room for longer than necessary.

Control through the Tuya Smart app

Connect the heater to a suitable WiFi network to use its smartphone controls through Tuya Smart. CED also confirms compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant through the approved app.

This gives you a choice of app control, compatible voice-assistant integration and the heater’s onboard digital controls.

Wall-mounted or freestanding: the choice is included

Mount the panel on a suitable wall to keep floor space clear, or fit the supplied standing feet for freestanding use.

CED includes the wall-mounting brackets, fixings and standing feet, making it easier to plan the heater around your room. For wall mounting, select fixings appropriate to the surface and follow the required installation clearances.

Choose the output for the room

The HP15WHSM has two heat settings and a maximum output of 1500W. CED gives a room-size guide of 15m².

Treat that figure as a starting point when choosing the heater. Insulation, ceiling height, windows, draughts and the desired temperature all affect the heating requirement.

Practical details for installation

The heater comes with a 1.7m cable and a UK three-pin 13A plug. Check the proposed position against the available power supply, furniture and required clearances.

Built-in overheat protection is included. The manufacturer lists an IP24 protection rating; location suitability must still follow the supplied instructions.
