The Casambi SAL-2064 Salvador 2000 is a professional DALI controller and Casambi wireless gateway designed to integrate wired DALI LED drivers into a Casambi smart lighting network. The SAL-2064 can address up to 64 DALI driver addresses, allowing connected DALI luminaires to be individually controlled, programmed and managed through the Casambi App.

Designed for professional lighting control applications, the SAL-2064 supports DALI D4i, DALI DT6 and DALI DT8, providing compatibility with a wide range of DALI LED drivers and lighting applications. DALI luminaires connected to the Salvador appear within the Casambi network alongside Casambi Ready devices, allowing wired and wireless lighting equipment to be controlled together.

Integrated DALI Power Supply

Unlike the Casambi Salvador 1000 Series, the SAL-2064 features an integrated 130mA DALI bus power supply, helping simplify installation by removing the requirement for a separate DALI bus power supply. Casambi specifies that Salvador 2000 controllers are intended specifically for connection to DALI drivers and that no additional DALI master units should be connected.

The SAL-2064 also includes a real-time clock with backup, providing additional flexibility for scheduled lighting applications.

Wireless DALI Lighting Control

The Casambi SAL-2064 DALI controller combines wired DALI lighting with Casambi's Bluetooth wireless mesh technology. This allows existing or new DALI lighting installations to benefit from wireless configuration and control through the Casambi ecosystem.

Each connected DALI driver can appear as an individual luminaire within the Casambi App, allowing installers and users to dim, group, programme and create scenes using DALI luminaires alongside Casambi Ready products.
