The Casambi CGW-KNX-02 is a professional KNX DALI Dual Hybrid Gateway designed to integrate Casambi wireless lighting networks with KNX building automation systems. With two independent DALI buses, the gateway can control up to 128 Casambi luminaires, with up to 64 luminaires per DALI bus, making it ideal for larger lighting installations and multi-zone projects.
The CGW-KNX-02 combines KNX-DALI and Casambi wireless control in one integrated solution, simplifying the connection between the two lighting control platforms. Casambi luminaires appear within KNX ETS as standard DALI devices, allowing them to be controlled using compatible KNX switches, sensors, touch panels and other KNX control equipment.
KNX, DALI and Casambi Integration
The CGW-KNX-02 provides two independent DALI outputs, each supporting up to 64 DALI devices. This gives installers greater flexibility when separating lighting into different floors, rooms, zones or circuits.
The gateway supports advanced lighting functions including dimming, Tunable White and RGB control, allowing these functions to be incorporated into a KNX building automation system.
The Casambi side communicates using Bluetooth/BLE, while the KNX side uses KNX TP with S-mode commissioning. The system can also be configured using the Casambi App and commissioned using KNX ETS and the appropriate Casambi configuration tools.
