Casambi CBU-RELAY Wireless Lighting Control Relay

The Casambi CBU-RELAY is a wireless lighting control relay designed to work with Casambi enabled lighting controls. It allows compatible lighting and electrical loads to be switched wirelessly through the Casambi app, making it a practical solution for smart lighting installations in commercial, residential and industrial environments.

Operating on a 100–240V AC supply at 50/60Hz, the CBU-RELAY provides a convenient way to introduce wireless on/off switching into compatible lighting systems. Once installed, the relay can be configured through the Casambi app and controlled using other Casambi enabled devices, creating a flexible lighting control solution without relying on a conventional wired switching arrangement.

The Casambi CBU-RELAY supports different electrical loads, with switching capacities dependent on the type of equipment connected. It can switch fluorescent lighting and incandescent or mains halogen lamps at up to 10A (2300W). For LED lamps and drivers with a power factor of at least 0.95, electronic or wire wound transformers, and compact fluorescent lighting, the rated switching capacity is 6A (1500W). For fans, the maximum rating is 1A (250W).

Designed for straightforward installation, the CBU-RELAY features live and neutral terminals to support loop-in and loop-out wiring. Its compact enclosure measures 120mm × 50mm × 32mm and carries an IP40 protection rating, making it suitable for appropriate indoor installations.

The relay also features a built-in Class II protection classification and a flame-retardant polycarbonate enclosure. With wireless control through the Casambi ecosystem, it provides a convenient way to upgrade compatible lighting installations with app-based switching.
