Choose the light output and colour that suit the room with the Deta Brackenheath FireShield BR2010. This white, integrated LED fire rated downlight offers two power settings, 5W or 8W, and four selectable colour temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K. An electrician can select a softer warm white for a living room, a clearer light for a kitchen, or a cooler appearance for a utility or work area—all from the same downlight model. Both selection switches sit behind the removable bezel. 

The BR2010 is designed for residential and commercial interiors where the ceiling installation calls for a fire rated recessed downlight. Deta specifies 30, 60 and 90 minute fire resistance for solid timber joist constructions, and 30 minutes for the I-joist and web joist constructions covered by its documentation. The correct rating depends on the tested ceiling construction, so installers should check the relevant Deta certification for the project rather than treating every ceiling as identical. The fitting also has a gasket that helps reduce air movement and the passage of sound through the installation. 

Its IP65 rating makes the BR2010 suitable for appropriately specified bathroom lighting as well as kitchens and other indoor spaces. Deta’s installation instructions identify the product as indoor use only, so the IP rating should not be taken as approval for outdoor installation. The 60° beam angle gives a focused spread of light for a planned downlight layout. Output varies with the selected power and colour temperature: Deta lists 450–550 lumens at 5W and 720–880 lumens at 8W across the four CCT settings.
