The BG 882M/HC-01 Nexus double master smart dimmer switch combines two smart lighting controls on one white moulded wall plate. Designed for compatible dimmable LED, halogen and incandescent lighting, this 2 gang, 2 way Wi-Fi dimmer switch allows users to switch, schedule and adjust their lighting through the wall controls, voice commands or the BG Smart App.

The two master dimmer controls make the 882M/HC-01 ideal for rooms containing two lighting circuits, such as separate ceiling and wall lights. Its two-way switching capability also allows a lighting circuit to be operated from an additional position when the master dimmer is connected to a compatible BG Smart secondary dimmer. This makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, hallways, landings and other modern domestic interiors.

Users can create lighting schedules, set timers, build smart scenes, activate random operation and adjust brightness through the BG Smart App. The dimmer works with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Siri for hands-free voice control. Initial pairing uses Bluetooth before the dimmer connects to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, with no separate smart-home hub or subscription required.

The BG 882M/HC-01 supports dimmable LED loads from 10W to 150W in trailing-edge mode and 10W to 100W in leading-edge mode. Compatible incandescent and halogen loads from 5W to 150W are also supported. Leading-edge or trailing-edge operation can be selected through the app to suit the connected lamps, while built-in soft-start and overload protection help protect compatible lighting.

Designed for straightforward retrofit installation, this no-neutral smart dimmer switch fits a minimum 25mm mounting box and includes captive, backed-out terminal screws. The white IP20-rated faceplate has two switches, operates at 220–240V and features an antimicrobial surface property.
