Description

Create a convenient charging point for compatible bathroom grooming appliances with the BG Nexus Metal NFB20B-01 matt black dual-voltage shaver socket. Its dedicated 115V and 240V outputs are suitable for compatible electric shavers and rechargeable toothbrushes, helping keep worktops organised without using a standard mains socket or loose adaptor.

The integrated isolating transformer provides a 20VA low-power supply specifically intended for suitable personal-care appliances. Clear markings identify the 115V and 240V connections, making it easy to select the appropriate outlet for the appliance being used. It is not designed to power hairdryers, straighteners or other high-powered household equipment.

Finished in matt black with a matching black insert, the socket offers a coordinated monochrome appearance for modern bathrooms, en suites, hotel rooms and dressing areas. Its slim metal plate and softly rounded edges complement matching matt black switches, sockets and accessories from the BG Nexus Metal collection.

Installation is supported by inline colour-coded terminals and captive, backed-out screws that help prevent screw loss. The terminals accept up to three 2.5mm² or two 4mm² conductors, while a single earth terminal is provided. Fixing screws and installation instructions are also supplied.

The NFB20B-01 measures approximately 146mm high, 86mm wide and 46.1mm deep, with 120.6mm vertical fixing centres. A minimum 47mm mounting box is required, so the wall-box depth and available wiring space should be checked before installation.

The shaver socket has an IP41 rating and is certified to the relevant shaver-supply and transformer standards listed by BG. It is covered by a 25-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to BG Electrical’s warranty conditions.

The BG Nexus Metal NFB20B-01 is a matt black dual-voltage shaver socket designed for compatible electric shavers and rechargeable toothbrushes.

It provides separate 115V and 240V AC outputs from an integrated 20VA isolating transformer. This allows suitable UK and international grooming appliances to be connected without using a separate voltage adaptor, provided the appliance is compatible with the selected output.

The socket has a matt black metal plate, black insert, softly rounded edges, captive terminal screws and colour-coded connections. It is rated IP41 and requires a minimum 47mm mounting box.
