BG Nexus NFB15F 10A Fused Triple Pole Fan Isolator Switch - Matt Black

Safely isolate a bathroom, kitchen or utility-room extractor fan with the BG Nexus Metal NFB15F-01 matt black fused triple pole fan isolator switch. It provides a convenient local control point so a compatible ventilation fan can be disconnected for cleaning, servicing or replacement.

Its triple pole switching can isolate the permanent live, switched live and neutral connections commonly used by timer-controlled extractor fans. BG also confirms that the switch can be used for suitable double pole applications when required.

Unlike the standard NFB15-01, this model includes an integrated fuse carrier, combining fan isolation and a local fused connection within one compact wall accessory. The correct fuse and circuit arrangement must be selected to match the connected fan manufacturer’s instructions.

The matt black metal plate has softly rounded edges, a matching rocker and no visible plastic surrounding the switch. Its clean monochrome appearance coordinates with black sockets, switches, taps, lighting fittings and other accessories in modern bathrooms, kitchens and contemporary interiors.

Captive, backed-out terminal screws help simplify installation and reduce the chance of screws being misplaced. A fixed moisture-control gasket also helps protect the metal plate edges from moisture associated with newly plastered walls.

The NFB15F-01 is rated at 10A, 250V AC, uses triple pole switching and accepts up to four 1mm², four 1.5mm², two 2.5mm² or one 4mm² conductor. It measures approximately 86mm high, 86mm wide and 35mm deep, with standard 60.3mm fixing centres.

A minimum 35mm mounting box should be used for this fused model, with sufficient additional space for the conductors and terminal connections. The accessory is IP20 rated for protected indoor locations and is covered by BG Electrical’s 25-year manufacturer’s warranty.
