Description
Safely isolate a bathroom or kitchen extractor fan with the BG Nexus Metal NFB15-01 matt black 3 pole fan isolator switch. It provides a convenient local isolation point, allowing a connected ventilation fan to be disconnected for cleaning, maintenance or replacement without switching off other circuits unnecessarily.
Its triple-pole switching design is suitable for fan installations using permanent live, switched live and neutral connections. BG also confirms that the switch can be used for suitable double-pole applications when required. Rated at 10A and 10AX, it is designed for compatible domestic and commercial ventilation systems.
The slim matt black metal plate has softly rounded edges, a matching rocker and no visible plastic around the switch. This creates a coordinated finish for modern bathrooms, utility rooms, kitchens and other interiors using black electrical accessories.
Captive, backed-out terminal screws help make installation quicker and reduce the risk of screws being misplaced. An integrated gasket helps protect the metal plate edges from moisture associated with newly plastered walls. The switch measures approximately 86 × 86 × 23mm, uses 60.3mm fixing centres and, according to BG’s current product page, requires a minimum 25mm back box.
