Description

Control the same lighting circuit from three or more locations with the BG Nexus Metal NFB13-01 matt black intermediate light switch. It is ideal for larger hallways, staircases, landings and rooms with several entrances where convenient multi-point lighting control is required.

An intermediate switch is normally installed between two compatible 2-way switches. The two 2-way switches are positioned at either end of the circuit, while the NFB13-01 provides an additional control position between them. Further intermediate switches can be added where the same lighting circuit needs to be operated from more locations.

Rated at 20A 16AX and 250V AC, the switch is suitable for appropriate domestic and commercial lighting loads, including compatible inductive lighting circuits. Its captive, backed-out terminal screws help make installation quicker and reduce the risk of loose screws being misplaced.

The slim matt black metal plate has softly rounded edges, a matching black rocker and colour-matched fixing screws. There is no visible plastic around the rocker, helping the switch achieve a clean, coordinated appearance for modern, industrial and monochrome interiors.

An integrated gasket helps protect the metal edges from moisture associated with newly plastered walls. The accessory measures approximately 86mm high, 86mm wide and 24mm deep, uses standard 60.3mm fixing centres and requires a minimum 16mm mounting box.

The switch is IP20 rated for protected indoor locations, complies with BS EN 60669-1 and is covered by BG Electrical’s 25-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the applicable warranty conditions.

Specification

The BG Nexus Metal NFB13-01 is a matt black, single-gang intermediate light switch used when one lighting circuit needs to be controlled from three or more positions.

In a typical multi-point lighting circuit, two 2-way switches are installed at the first and last control positions. The NFB13-01 intermediate switch is fitted between them to provide an additional control point. It is therefore suitable for long hallways, staircases, landings and larger rooms with multiple entrances.

The switch is rated at 20A 16AX and 250V AC. It has a slim matt black metal plate, softly rounded edges, captive terminal screws, a moisture-control gasket and colour-matched fixing screws. It measures approximately 86 × 86 × 24mm and requires a minimum 16mm mounting box.
