Description
The BG HGS03/FR-01 Fire Rated Dry Lining Box is a high-performance 35mm deep 1 gang metal back box designed specifically for plasterboard and cavity wall installations where fire and acoustic performance are essential. Manufactured from galvanised steel and fitted with an integral intumescent fire pad, it helps maintain the fire integrity of partition walls while providing a secure mounting solution for electrical accessories.
Suitable for plasterboard thicknesses between 12mm and 27mm, the HGS03/FR-01 features spring-loaded adjustable fixing lugs that provide a secure fit without damaging the surrounding wall. Multiple 20mm knockouts in the sides and base allow flexible cable entry for conduit or twin and earth cable installations, making it suitable for a wide variety of domestic and commercial projects.
