The socket is suitable for powering two compatible mains appliances from one wall position. Each outlet has its own single-pole rocker switch, allowing lamps, televisions, computers, kitchen equipment and other suitable appliances to be controlled without repeatedly removing their plugs.

Its satin brass finish provides a softer and more understated appearance than highly polished brass. The black socket inserts and matching black rockers create a strong contrast, making the accessory particularly suited to modern kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and commercial interiors with brass, black or dark decorative details.

A low-profile screwless front plate clips securely over the installed socket base, concealing the fixing screws for a cleaner wall finish. The decorative plate can also be removed during painting or redecorating, allowing the electrical base to remain installed while helping protect the satin brass surface from paint and accidental damage.
