Combining an intermediate switching mechanism with an oversized full-face rocker, this contemporary wall switch is ideal for staircases, hallways, landings, corridors and larger rooms requiring lighting control from multiple locations.

An intermediate switch is installed between two compatible two-way switches. This arrangement allows one lighting circuit to be switched on or off from three separate positions. Additional intermediate switches may be incorporated into a correctly designed circuit where control from more locations is required. BG specifically identifies the PCDMB13EB-01 as an intermediate switch designed to act as the middle switch in a multi-position lighting circuit.

The switch is rated at 20A and 16AX, making it suitable for compatible domestic and commercial lighting circuits. Its 16AX inductive rating is relevant to appropriate lighting loads, while the official technical specification lists an operating rating of 250V AC. The connected lighting, conductor size and circuit arrangement should always be checked by a competent electrical installer.

A key feature of this model is its edge-to-edge rocker.
