Create flexible, comfortable lighting with the BG Evolve PCDDBTDM2B-01 Matt Blue Double Touch Dimmer Switch. Designed with two independently operated master dimmer controls, this contemporary lighting accessory allows two separate compatible lighting circuits to be switched and dimmed from one compact wall plate.
The twin touch controls make the switch ideal for rooms with multiple lighting zones. One control can operate the main ceiling lights while the second manages pendant lighting, wall lights, feature lighting or another suitable dimmable circuit. This makes the PCDDBTDM2B-01 a practical option for living rooms, kitchens, dining areas, bedrooms, home cinemas, hotel rooms and modern commercial interiors.
Each dimmer uses intelligent trailing-edge technology, providing improved compatibility with modern dimmable LED lighting and other supported lamp types. Each channel accepts compatible dimmable LED loads from 5–100W, with up to ten dimmable LED lamps per channel. Across the complete two-dimmer plate, the manufacturer specifies a maximum LED load of 200W and up to twenty compatible LED lamps.
For incandescent and eco-halogen lighting, the installation manual applies a multi-dimmer derating limit of 150W per channel and 300W across the complete plate. The technical specification also lists per-module compatibility with tungsten or incandescent lamps, halogen lighting and compatible dimmable compact fluorescent lamps. Lamp type, minimum load, maximum load and manufacturer compatibility should always be checked before installation.
