This multifunctional wall socket combines two individually switched UK power outlets, an integrated N300 Wi-Fi range extender and one 2.1A USB-A charging port. Its distinctive Matt Blue screwless plate and contrasting black inserts create a modern finish for bedrooms, home offices, kitchens, living spaces, apartments and hotel interiors.

Integrated N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender

The built-in wireless extender repeats an existing router signal to improve coverage in areas where Wi-Fi has become weak or unreliable.

It supports:

The product requires an existing 2.4GHz broadband router. It does not provide broadband by itself and cannot extend a network operating exclusively on the 5GHz band. Traditional plug-in Wi-Fi extenders occupy a mains outlet and project from the wall. The PCDDB22UWRB-01 integrates the extender inside the socket, leaving both 13A outlets available for appliances and electrical equipment.

BG recommends positioning the socket approximately halfway between the router and the weak-signal area. It should remain within sufficient range of the original router so it can receive and repeat the wireless connection effectively.

The Wi-Fi extender can be configured through:

When successfully configured, it can use the same network name and password as the existing router, allowing compatible devices to connect through the established home network credentials. No separate mobile application is required for the setup methods described by BG.

Wi-Fi Holiday Mode

The wireless signal can be switched off without disabling the two 13A power outlets.

Pressing the WPS/reset control three times turns off the extender’s radio function. Repeating the process restores Wi-Fi operation. This provides a convenient way to disable the wireless extender when the property is unoccupied while leaving power available at both sockets.
