This multifunctional wall socket combines two individually switched UK power outlets, an integrated N300 Wi-Fi range extender and a 2.1A USB-A charging port in one decorative screwless accessory. It is designed to replace a compatible standard double socket while helping extend a weak 2.4GHz wireless signal into bedrooms, home offices, kitchens, living spaces and other indoor areas.

Extend Wi-Fi Without Using a Plug-In Adaptor

Traditional wireless extenders occupy a power outlet and project noticeably from the wall. The BG PCDCL22UWRW-01 integrates its Wi-Fi extender into the socket itself, allowing both 13A power outlets to remain available for appliances and electrical equipment.

The socket is best positioned approximately halfway between the existing wireless router and the area with a weak signal. It should still receive a usable signal from the router so it can repeat that connection into the surrounding room or nearby area.
