Description
The BG CUTS10-01 7-day digital timer provides programmable automatic control for suitable electrical circuits installed within a compatible BG consumer unit or enclosure. With one control channel, a clear LCD display and a minimum switching interval of one minute, it allows electrical loads to operate according to scheduled times throughout the week.
Its flexible seven-day programming makes the timer suitable for domestic, commercial and light-industrial applications where equipment must switch on and off automatically. Depending on the connected load and installation design, it can be used for compatible lighting circuits, heating controls, ventilation equipment, signage, pumps and other timed electrical systems.
The CUTS10-01 provides up to 48 programmable memory inputs, allowing multiple switching periods to be configured across the week. A manual switching and permanent ON/OFF facility also lets users override the programmed schedule whenever temporary continuous or manual operation is required.
A simple summer and winter time-correction function helps adjust programmed operation when the clocks change. Its internal power reserve maintains the time and programmed settings during a loss of mains power, with BG’s current technical specification listing a reserve of approximately five years and time accuracy of ±2 seconds per day.
Designed for DIN-rail installation, the digital timer occupies two consumer-unit modules and measures approximately 35.8mm wide. It operates at 230V and supports suitable resistive loads up to 16A and inductive loads up to 4A. The timer is IP20 rated and is designed for installation inside an appropriate electrical enclosure.
