BG CPRSD440AG-01 40A 4 Pole IP65 Rotary Switch Isolator – Anthracite Grey

The BG CPRSD440AG-01 40A 4 Pole Rotary Switch Isolator provides a safe, robust and weather-resistant means of locally disconnecting electrical equipment in domestic, commercial and light industrial installations.

Designed specifically with modern exterior installations in mind, the isolator is housed in a smart anthracite grey RAL7016 polycarbonate enclosure. The darker finish makes it particularly suitable for contemporary properties and external electrical installations where a conventional light-grey industrial isolator may look out of place. BG also designed the finish to complement modern EV charging equipment, including the Sync Energy EV charger range.

With an IP65 ingress protection rating, the CPRSD440AG-01 is engineered for exterior use and provides protection against dust and water ingress. The enclosure also carries an IK10 impact-resistance rating, giving it the durability required for exposed outdoor locations and demanding installations.

Rated at 40A, this model uses a 4-pole 3+N configuration and is suitable for both single-phase and three-phase applications. BG specifically identifies applications including EV chargers, air source heat pumps and hot tubs, making the isolator an excellent choice where equipment requires a clearly accessible local isolation point.

The switch has an AC-23A rating of 40A and 15kW, giving it increased capacity over the 32A CPRSD432AG version. It also has a 32A AC-3 rating, a rated voltage of 440V and an operational voltage range of 230–415V.
