Description

The BG CPRSD263-01 63A two-pole rotary isolator switch provides dependable electrical isolation for suitable single-phase equipment in domestic, commercial and light-industrial installations. Its robust IP65 weatherproof enclosure makes it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor locations when correctly installed, helping protect the switch against dust and water ingress.

Designed for safe equipment isolation, this 63A double-pole switch disconnector features a highly visible red and yellow rotary handle with clear ON, OFF and locked positions. The handle can be secured in the OFF position with a suitable padlock, helping prevent accidental or unauthorised reconnection while machinery or electrical equipment is being inspected, maintained or repaired.

The enclosure lid is mechanically interlocked with the rotary operating mechanism, preventing the cover from being opened while the isolator is switched on. Captive retained cover screws and captive, backed-out terminal screws help simplify installation and reduce the risk of small components being misplaced during fitting or servicing.
