Up and Down Outdoor Wall Lighting

Two Replaceable GU10 Lamps

Warm-white 2700K GU10 lamps can create a softer decorative effect, while 3000K lamps offer a clean warm-white appearance for entrances and architectural walls. A narrower beam can create more defined cones of light, whereas a wider beam can provide a broader wall-washing effect.

Each selected lamp must not exceed the specified 58mm maximum lamp length. No separate LED driver is required.

Dimmable Outdoor Wall Light

The Jura Twin can be dimmed when fitted with compatible dimmable GU10 LED lamps and connected to a suitable dimmer. Dimming performance depends on the lamps and control equipment chosen.

This gives homeowners, designers and hospitality operators greater control over the exterior atmosphere, allowing the wall lighting to be reduced for subtle evening illumination or increased when brighter entrance lighting is required.

IP44 Weather-Resistant Construction

The Astro 1375010 has an IP44 ingress-protection rating, protecting it against solid objects larger than 1mm and splashing water. It is designed for vertically mounted exterior wall installations, subject to correct fitting and compliance with applicable electrical regulations.

IP44 makes the Jura Twin suitable for many general outdoor wall-lighting locations, but it should not be submerged, exposed to high-pressure water jets or installed where a higher weather-protection rating is required.

Important Coastal Installation Information

Astro’s product-specific Issue 2 datasheet states that the Jura Twin 1375010 is not suitable for installation within five miles, or approximately eight kilometres, of the coast. Properties in coastal or other particularly demanding environments should use a product specifically designated by Astro as coastal suitable.

Suitable for Bathroom Zones 2 and 3

Although primarily designed as an outdoor wall light, Astro also lists the Jura Twin as suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 when correctly installed.

Its twin up-and-down light effect can suit brass-themed bathrooms, spa-style interiors and vanity areas where a decorative wall-mounted fitting is required. The product is Class I and must be correctly earthed.
