The Ansell ATORP4/1 Tornado Pro XPRESS is a high-performance 1200mm commercial and industrial LED batten designed for warehouses, workshops, factories, plant rooms, covered car parks and other demanding environments where efficiency, durability and reliable illumination are essential.
Delivering an impressive 4400 lumens from only 22W, the Tornado Pro achieves up to 190 lumens per watt, making it an exceptionally efficient alternative to older fluorescent battens and less efficient non-corrosive LED fittings. Its fixed 4000K cool white output provides a bright, clean working light well suited to industrial, commercial and back-of-house applications.
The redesigned Tornado Pro goes beyond simply increasing light output. Ansell has developed a crystal-clear polycarbonate base that produces both direct and indirect illumination, helping create a more visually balanced lighting effect while retaining the rugged construction expected from an industrial non-corrosive batten. The optical system can also accommodate different beam options, making Tornado Pro suitable for a wider range of mounting positions and application types.
With IP66 ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance, the ATORP4/1 is built for challenging installations where dust, moisture and physical impact are important considerations. It can be ceiling mounted or suspended and incorporates multiple contractor-friendly features including side and end conduit entries, adjustable rear BESA mounting clips and supplied suspension hooks.
For projects that later require additional functionality, the standard Tornado Pro is also XPRESS compatible, allowing suitable Ansell clip-in emergency and microwave sensor accessories to be added without having to replace the complete luminaire. DALI and OCTO-controlled options are also available elsewhere in the Tornado Pro range.
