FAQ's

Can the Prism Pro be used to correct poor downlight positioning after first-fix?

Yes. The 30° gimbal adjustment can often rescue installations where joists, pipework or existing cut-outs have forced the luminaire away from the ideal position. This is particularly useful in kitchen islands, artwork lighting and sloped ceilings where fixed downlights may create shadowing.

How does the detachable connector affect testing procedures on large projects?

The two-part connector allows circuits to be insulation tested, continuity tested and commissioned before the luminaires are fitted. This reduces the risk of damage during construction phases and allows fittings to be installed later in the programme.

Does the remote driver offer any maintenance advantages?

Yes. In many cases the driver can be accessed and replaced separately from the luminaire, reducing disruption and helping avoid unnecessary ceiling damage during future maintenance works.
