The Ansell Alto (ALTOLED) is a surface-mounted, bi-directional die-cast LED wall light finished in a durable graphite powder-coated anodised paint finish, designed for residential and hospitality applications where both style and weather resistance matter.
Its standout feature is independent beam angle adjustment on the up and down light distribution — each can be individually set anywhere between 0° and 90° — allowing installers and designers to fine-tune the up-light and down-light spread independently to suit the building façade, courtyard, terrace or entrance it's illuminating.
Rated at 6W and delivering 320 lumens (56 lm/W), the Alto is a low-wattage architectural accent and wayfinding light rather than a primary area light — well suited to entrances, garden walls, boundary walls, patios, hotel exteriors and pathway lighting. It carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water, plus IK05 impact resistance, and is rated for internal and external use across a -20°C to 40°C operating range, making it suitable for exposed UK exterior installations year-round.
Built from die-cast aluminium for long-term durability, the Alto operates from a standard 220-240V AC supply, is non-dimmable, and is backed by a 3-year warranty. Full IES/LDT and PDF photometric files, installation instructions and a GLDF model are available to support lighting design and specification.
