Ansell ADGRE4/1 Degree 15–25W CCT Surface Mounted LED Cornice Light 1200mm

The Ansell ADGRE4/1 Degree XPRESS Surface Mounted Cornice is a modern 1200mm commercial LED linear luminaire designed to provide controlled asymmetric illumination across corridors, stairwells and circulation areas in education, healthcare and commercial buildings.

Unlike a conventional linear batten that distributes light relatively evenly around the fitting, the Degree uses an asymmetric 80°/120° light distribution to direct illumination more effectively across the required area. This makes it particularly well suited to wall-adjacent and cornice-style installations where light needs to reach the floor, walkway or circulation space rather than simply illuminate the ceiling around the fitting.

For electrical contractors, the Degree also provides considerably more flexibility than a fixed-output commercial luminaire. The ADGRE4/1 combines three selectable power outputs from 15W to 25W with 3000K, 4000K and 5000K CCT selection, allowing both the light level and colour appearance to be configured during installation from a single product.

At 4000K, delivered output ranges from approximately 1800 to 2900 lumens, with manufacturer data quoting efficiency up to approximately 116lm/W. This allows the same 1200mm Degree fitting to cover different corridor and stairwell lighting requirements without stocking several separate wattage versions.

The Ansell Degree has been designed as a modern surface-mounted cornice luminaire rather than a traditional industrial-looking LED batten.

The Ansell ADGRE4/1 Degree is a 1200mm surface-mounted LED cornice light designed primarily for commercial corridors and stairwells. It uses an asymmetric 80°/120° light distribution to direct illumination across circulation areas and offers three selectable power outputs between 15W and 25W, delivering approximately 1800–2900 lumens at 4000K. Installers can also select 3000K, 4000K or 5000K CCT from the same fitting. The Degree is IP20 and IK06 rated, uses a quick clip-in gear tray and pull-out conduit tabs, and is compatible with Ansell XPRESS emergency and microwave sensor options.
