The BG Electrical CFGAR1A-01 is a fully populated IP65-rated weatherproof garage consumer unit kit, designed for safe and reliable circuit protection in outdoor and damp environments such as garages, sheds, workshops, and outbuildings. This 5-module metal enclosure is pre-fitted with a 40A 30mA Type A RCD, a 6A MCB, and a 32A MCB, offering a complete solution for lighting and power circuits.
Built from durable cast aluminium (ADC12) and finished in gloss white to match BG’s wiring accessories, the CFGAR1A-01 enclosure is engineered for long-lasting performance. It features 11 knockouts (M20/M32) for flexible cable entry, captive and backed-out terminal screws for easy installation, and a surface-mountable design with 4 wall fixing points.
The upward-opening front cover provides convenient access to internal components, while the electro-mechanical RCD ensures rapid disconnection in under 0.1 seconds in the event of a fault. Fully compliant with BS7671, BSEN61439, and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, this kit is ideal for both new installations and upgrades.
